About This Show

Montreal-based 4D art brings Shakespeare’s La Tempête (The Tempest) to hallucinatory life with a skillful, modern blend of live acting and digital imagery. Directed by Michel Lemieux, Victor Pilon, and Denise Guilbault, the New York premiere of this production (in a French translation by Normand Chaurette) marries high technology with the gripping tale of Prospero. He loses his dukedom, goes into exile, and conjures a devastating storm that wrecks a ship carrying his disloyal brother.
