Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory: From Douglass to Deliverance

To celebrate Black History Month, Actors’ Equity Association presents Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory: From Douglass to Deliverance starring award-winning Broadway star André De Shields. Created by Mr. De Shields and directed by Alfred Preisser (Classic Theatre of Harlem), Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory explores the life and achievements of the Great Emancipator, Fredrick Douglass. Though Douglas began his life as a slave, through heroic efforts, he became one of America’s most important and historically influential African American Leaders.
