Some of the finest artists from Broadway, jazz and cabaret come to 92nd Street Y to share their passion and talents in celebrating this great American art form. This weekend, Broadway music director David Loud leads talented vocalists in performances of Burton Lane's greatest hits. Joining him will be Broadway stars Heidi Blickenstaff, Liz Callaway, James Clow, Joshua Henry and Michele Ragusa. Tony Award winner John Cullum, who starred in the original production of On a Clear Day You Can See Forever, will make a special appearance. Burton Lane was an American composer and lyricist most remembered for the score to Finian's Rainbow and for discovering a young Judy Garland. He also wrote music for films, including Some Like It Hot. In 1956, Lane shared a Grammy Award for Best Broadway Cast Album of the year (On a Clear Day You Can See Forever).
