Since 2013, critically acclaimed and Los Angeles Times Critic’s Choice, "Latina Christmas Special" has been delighting audiences of all races and changing the narrative on American Christmases. This Off-Broadway hybrid holiday comedy blends stand-up with theatrical story telling based on the lives of three comedian friends: Sandra Valls (Showtime's "Latin Divas of Comedy"), Maria Russell (TruTVs "Tacoma FD") and Diana Yanez (Margaret Cho's “Sensuous Woman”).

Every ethnicity can relate to the feeling that their parents and families are a little “freaky” during the holidays when compared to the traditional Christmases fed to us on TV. These three comedian friends show us with their personal tales that every family has its own hilarious peculiarities, everyone wants to belong, and every one, regardless of their heritage, has a hard time at some point in their life.
