About This Show

British recording artist, TV and film star Petula Clark, seen on Broadway in Blood Brothers and on tour in Sunset Boulevard, is perhaps best remembered as America?s number one female vocalist during the ?60?s Brit musical invasion, who topped the charts with her million seller “Downtown,” written by Tony Hatch. She is joined by neighborhood stars and cast members of every show and theatre company in the downtown area, leading the company in singing “Downtown” to kick off a press conference for downtownNYC!, a new coalition of arts and businesses determined to make the world aware that they?re still there and ready for business, despite losses suffered in the World Trade Center attack.

Website downtownNYC.info will provide info on shows, discount programs, restaurants, galleries and businesses to provide the ultimate link to everything going on downtown!
