For one night only, some of the biggest and brightest names on Broadway light up the stage in this all-star benefit concert. Presented by the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF), Broadway: A Jewish American Legacy honors Jerry Zaks, a multi-Tony Award winning director, for his contributions to both American musical theater and Jewish life through his work in entertainment. The evening also features a special award presentation for Bruce E. Slovin, the founder of the Center for Jewish History and former director of Circle in the Square Theatre. Slovin will be the first recipient of the Jewish Cultural Legacy Award, which will be named in his honor for future recipients. A dessert reception (yay!) follows the concert.
