About This Show

The Collegiate Chorale singers, led by Robert Bass, who celebrates his 25th anniversary as Music Director of the Chorale, will perform an evening of American operetta, featuring music by Victor Herbert, Sigmund Romberg and Rudolf Friml with the Jupiter Symphony Chamber Players. This concert is yet another in a continuing series of different musical styles that the Chorale is exploring. The program follows the arc of American operetta’s development as it goes from turn-of-the-century musical revue to become what is now known as the Broadway Musical, with selected songs and scenes from the theater’s most romantic shows.
