About This Show

Based on Christine Wiltz’s acclaimed book of the same title, The Last Madam plunges the audience into the fateful final day of notorious Madam Norma Wallace’s celebrated house on 1026 Conti Street. It is 1964, and the aging Norma is planning the party and looking for the necessary information that will allow her to keep her business and her way of life. With some of New Orleans most colorful characters including mercurial DA Jim Garrison and notorious investigator Pershing Gervais lurking in shadows, The Last Madam follows Norma as she cajoles, threatens, manipulates, and charms the world around her in an attempt to survive a French Quarter and a city that are changing before her very eyes.
