Southern New Plays Festival

Southern Repertory Theatre is reviving its popular Southern New Plays Festival, featuring the premiere of two new plays by local playwrights and six free, staged readings by some of the South’s leading new writers.
Headlining this year’s festival are Mr. & Mrs. Hollywood by Barret O’Brien, co-produced with American Dog Theater, and The Visitation, by Jim Fitzmorris, co-produced with Red Noses Theatre Company. The plays will perform in rotating repertory during the festival Thursdays through Sundays. The readings are running Mondays through Wednesdays at 7pm.
