This spring Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue light up the stage with their unique combination of old-school jazz, funk and soul, laced with hard-rock power chords and hip-hop beats. As the 27-year-old grandson of R&B and Blues singer/songwriter Jessie Hill, Trombone Shorty infuses this sound with the flavors of his New Orleans upbringing.
