Oh, Freedom

Oh, Freedom examines the concepts of freedom through speeches, poetry, song and dance from both the past and present. This multi-media piece involves professional actors and actresses as well as students and teachers from the Jersey City Public School system. In an effort to make Oh, Freedom a community project, Tempest Productions uses artwork submitted by local youth for a “Freedom Quilt,” which serves as the backdrop for the performance.
