About This Show

Linda Eder stars in Camille Claudel, a new musical about a woman who broke all the rules featuring book and lyrics by Nan Knighton and music by Frank Wildhorn. Camille Claudel found her passion for sculpting in the late 1800s, with Auguste Rodin as her mentor. With humor and a boundless zest for life, Claudel enchanted Rodin, soon becoming his mistress and muse. However, as two competitive artists, both proclaimed geniuses, their affair grew stormier each year. Though their passion never ebbed, Claudel ultimately sought total independence from Rodin, a choice which led her to a haunting and most unusual end.
