About the Show
In Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias, six softhearted “magnolias” with steely dispositions create a strong bond of caring and love. Newly married Shelby is joyfully pregnant, despite her health getting in the way. Her mother M’Lynn battles her deepest fears in order to join Shelby in celebrating the miracle of a new life. She looks to her four closest friends for strength and laughter. Mary M. Finnerty directs this hilarious and touching comedy.
