Diahann Carroll with the Minnesota Orcheatra

Diahann Carroll–with her stunning voice, regal beauty and off-the-charts acting talent–is a consummate entertainer: she breathes life into melodies, sweet and low, shifts gears to deliver roof-raising cabaret numbers and carries her listeners with sublime skill every step of the way. She’s been dazzling audiences for years, first as a recording artist and songstress extraordinaire, then as an actress, famous for her own TV show, Julia, her role in Dynasty and her amazing performance as Norma Desmond in Webber’s hit musical Sunset Boulevard. She’s won a Tony and a Golden Globe; she’s been nominated for Emmy, Grammy and Oscar awards. Now Diahann Carroll makes her Minnesota Orchestra debut, delivering holiday favorites, vocal standards and pop ballads as only she can do!

Please note: The Minnesota Orchestra will perform “Sleigh Ride” and Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite” on the first half of the program and will be joined by Ms. Carroll on the second half of the concert.
