About This Show
The Ordway’s Summer Dance Series highlights a different genre and technique every Thursday with basic lessons by professional dance companies. Past events have included trying your hand at the rhythm of beat with Salsa del Soul or spinning your partner around ballroom style. The lessons are fun for all ages and dance ability levels. So, bring the girls, bring your date or come for summer family fun. After the lesson, you are invited to put those moves to Summer Dance practice during open dancing the rest of the evening with a live, local band.
Join us each Thursday starting at 5:30pm for Summer Dance. At 6pm, we kick off the dancing with basic lessons by professional dance companies. After the lesson, you are invited to put those moves to practice during open dancing the rest of the evening with a live, local band starting at 7:15pm.
