About This Show

Imagine pungent images of passion, family vendettas, spilt blood and spent horses – all soaked in a sexually-charged mix of prose, verse and fiery flamenco. It’s the work of the great Spanish poet Garcia Lorca – newly translated by Argentinean Lillian Garrett-Groag (author of the beguiling The Magic Fire) and directed by Chilean Marcela Lorca. This is more than an Andalusian wedding gone tragically wrong, this will be a profound and breathtaking evening of pure theater you won’t soon forget.
