Adventure Theater Festival

This summer, venture to Plainview, Minnesota, for an adventure of epic proportions. The Jon Hassler Theater presents two weekends of daring, bold, and exhilarating performances at the Adventure Theater Festival. The first weekend, August 16 – 18, features a one-hour production of FOUR HUMORS’ LOLITA: A THREE MAN SHOW by Four Humors Theater, as well as Sandbox Theatre’s stripped-down showcase of 15-minute works, SUITCASE, in which the every prop and set piece must fit into a single piece of luggage. As an added bonus the first weekend, Live Action Set will perform THE GREAT WATER REBELLION as part of the Corn on the Cob Days Parade on Sunday, August 18th. The second weekend, August 23 – 25, brings the critically acclaimed, one-woman play AFTERLIFE by Candy Simmons’ SunsetGun Productions, along with Dangerous Productions’ fast-paced marriage farce featuring five sets of twins in HAPPY DOUBLE WEDDING. How much adventure can you handle?
