About This Show

Shakespeare Now! Theatre Company presents the Fifth Annual Boston Shakespeare Sonnet-thon, “Boston’s most important theater event of the year.” For the fifth year in a row, renowned Shakespearean actor, director, and lecturer Jonathan Epstein serves as Sonnet Master. Jonny’s masterful hosting of the event over the last four years has made for an unforgettable evening of fun and celebration. And, this year, special guests help celebrate the 5th anniversary!

The Sonnet-thon is a performance event of all 154 of Shakespeare’s sonnets, presented in chronological order, by any and all interested participants. The goal is to have each sonnet performed by a different speaker. Actors – non-Equity and Equity – are invited to perform.
