Small Steps

In the high-energy sequel to Louis Sachar’s popular Holes, Armpit has been released from the Camp Green Lake juvenile detention center for two years. He is focused on getting his life on a track to success, but frequently finds himself a victim of his past. Through his struggle to turn his life around, Armpit’s neighbor Ginny, who lives with cerebral palsy, is by his side as the only person who truly believes in him. Together, they learn to take small steps toward a better future.
