About This Show

Winningly told true stories of Voyaging Vixen Eva Mahgrefteh’s travels through Poland, France and Germany illustrated with photos, the occasional song, and yes, one poem. Nothing she encounters escapes her tongue-in-cheek scrutiny or her humorously twisted “Cultural Stereotypes in Two Minutes Flat.” From her enticing takes on food, language, art, to where to find the hottest Parisian waiters, an opportunity to share the travels of this Voyaging Vixen should not be missed. Performer/writer/director Eva Mahgrefteh began her illustrious theatrical career as a child in the seminal role of Workhouse Boy in the musical OLIVER! She would like it noted that (as of last week) she is no longer bitter about the size of that role or the unglamorous costuming. Since then, she has performed in everything from Shakespeare to Mamet, traveled extensively, and written emails that have been known to make the recipients laugh out loud in inappropriate places. She would like you to know that despite the many similarities between herself and the character Eva Lamarr, they part their hair differently and use entirely different shades of lipstick. One night only – all proceeds benefit the Santa Monica Playhouse Save the Playhouse Campaign. Produced by V V Productions.
