About This Show

Travesties tells the story of an aging Henry Carr who serves up his lucid, faulty, and wholly riveting memoirs that include James Joyce, the Dadaist founder, Tristan Tzara and Lenin, all living in Zurich during the Great War. Carr, acquainted with Joyce through a stage production of Earnest, confuses the story of his own life with the plot of Earnest to dizzying effect.
