About This Show

Leontes, the king of Sicilia, and Polixenes, the king of Bohemia, were always the best of friends until Leontes begins to suspect Polixenes of seducing his wife. The queen is put on trial and her infant girl sent to a foreign land to die. But things don’t go according to plan: the queen dies of grief and the little princess is found and raised by an old shepherd. Stefan Rudnicki directs Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale.
