About This Show

The Pagans written by Ann Noble and directed by Scott Cummins is a contemporary tale of an Irish family and the one son (Michael) who “made it” in America but can’t quite free himself from the bonds of blood and home. His return triggers past resentments and rivalry compounding the already bitter divisiveness within the home. The past confronts the present, and everyone must sort out their plans for the future…and discover, finally, that sacrifices must be made…for the love of a brother, or a sister, or a wife, or a girl, or a boy. Drawing a loving, truthful and often humorous portrait of a family whose interactions are alternately stormy and affectionate, the play examines what it means to have faith in your family, your religion, and those you care about most.
