About This Show

The Distance From Here takes the audience on a non-stop journey fueled by lust and unfulfilled dreams. The New Yorker’s John Lahr declares that LaBute “gets inside the emptiness of American culture, the masquerade of pleasure and the evil of neglect.” Indeed, the characters that live within Distance are fighting to fill a void that becomes larger and larger as the days go by. This is a play about people fighting against a hopeless reality, a play about people we know, people we wished we would never become.
