About This Show

Faith meets Show Biz in this hysterically funny “solo for two” about a Catholic from Brooklyn and a Baptist from Arkansas who pursue religion, find theatre, fall in love, fall apart, put their lives back together, and sing about it. Epiphanies possible–laughter guaranteed. The story is based on events from the lives of the authors (Jim Brochu and Steve Schalchlin), who have enjoyed a long-term collaborative partnership personally and professionally. This hit musical winds its national tour in L.A. prior to opening Off-Broadway.

Nominated for two 2003 Ovation Awards, Best World Premiere Musical and Best Lead Actor (Jim Brochu).

Winner – 2003 Los Angeles Drama Critics’ Circle Award, Best Musical Score.

Nominated for 2003 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Los Angeles Theatre Production and 2005 GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding Off-Off-Broadway Production.
