About This Show

Sunset Park, written by Marley Sims and Elliot Shoenman, is a comedy/drama that takes place in Brooklyn and explores the contemporary problem of people living longer and facing a myriad of new problems, including more medical conditions and running out of money. The main character is Evelyn Horowitz, a widow in her seventies who lives by herself and is a part-time teacher. Her apartment building is going co-op and when her middle-aged children hear about it, they encourage her to buy; rising real estate prices will secure her future – and enable them to “cash out” when she’s gone.

No performance Thursday, November 24. Additional performance Sunday, December 4 at 7pm.
