About This Show

An important Event in theatrical history is celebrated with the presentation of the final production of the Taper’s 38th season.

Set in Pittsburgh’s Hill District in the 1990’s Radio Golf is the last play chronologically in August Wilson’s 20th century odyssey. In this body of work, Wilson has been bearing witness to and channeling the voices of African Americans during every decade of the 1900’s, from post Civil War days through northern migration of the children and grandchildren of slaves, the Depression, World War II and the early days of integration.
