Puede que alguien advierta, y con razón, que la perra, es uno de los primeros animales domésticos, que era muy útil para cazar. Y pensemos, hoy en día, no existen perras de nadie. Porque una perra, si es “de nadie”, no sirve para nada, ni para nadie. Pues si que existen, ¡sí! Es más, son imprescindibles en sus inutilidades… Allí, en lo más profundo, de cada uno de vosotros, en ese submundo de desprotección, de la locura, de la ternura y la pura fragilidad, habitan Lili y sus vigilantes de la noche.
In Perra de Nadie (Nobody's Bitch), internationally celebrated performance artist Marta Carrasco returns to the Latino Theater Company with her new performance. In the deepest part of everyone, where the underworld of vulnerability, madness, tenderness and fragility exist, live Lili and her night watchmen, and her endearing vastness blooms. Marta Carrasco is a stage creator, performer, dancer, choreographer and theatre teacher of the contemporary scene. Her creations are influenced by artists such as Mary Wigman, Martha Graham and/or Pina Bausch, and are characterized by an expressionist and grotesque aesthetic. The topics she deals with are close to the darkness and imperfection of the human being.
