Normal Confusion

“Normal. I just want to be normal.” Working in bars for twenty years, it seems that’s all writer Rhodes Short (Al in Breakaway, Host of Spring Break Exposed) heard. Normal Confusion plops the audience on the barstool, where they experience first hand these caustically funny and excruciatingly real blue-collar characters. A cast of 20 includes a talking bottle of beer and a conversation with the Pillsbury Doughboy: all unwitting partners in the quest for “normalcy.” This comedic search is portrayed through video, the written word, some prose, a couple shots at pop culture and an interpretive dance!
