About This Show

Vietnam. 1968. The heartland of Kansas. One of the many families directly affected by war. A soldier husband writes home to his wife. She writes back while trying to raise their sons and keep the home intact. Their separation becomes more than geographic. Survival ofttimes casts a lengthy shadow. This powerful and beautifully written new play by acclaimed author, Julia Cameron (The Artist’s Way) is a timely testament to the casualties of war…on the frontlines, on the home front.
