All About Santa

The Rudie-DeCarlo mini-classic, returns to the Playhouse by popular demand for a limited winter engagement. A desperately nervous Santa struggles to woo the future Mrs. Claus, keep his newly discovered twin brother from destroying the North Pole, and breathe new life into the holiday magic that seems to be slipping further and further into the maw of commercialism and corporate greed.

The Holiday Cabaret
This production features Playhouse Education Conservatory members in the culminating production of their Fall Musical Theatre Project. Yummy holiday treats, steaming cider, audience participation and sing-a-longs are included in the price of admission.

Saturday and Sunday, December 17 and 18, 7:30pm. All seats $10.

Winter Wonderland Workshop

This is an exciting one-day workshop, Monday, December 19, 9:00am to 3:00pm, where young people between the ages of 6 and 15 make new friends as they participate in theatre games, learn about movement, singing, performance art, make-up and work with professional Playhouse theatre artists to get a true taste of the theatre experience.

Winter Break Enchanted Lunchtime Fairytale Theater

A special holiday version of this extremely popular new Mommy (or Daddy) and Me event. Young people ages 3 to 5 and their parents participate with Playhouse Education Conservatory artists for a lively and creative play-building adventure that includes sing-a-longs, story-telling, theatre games, crafts, enactment of a fairytale, and a magical (and nutritious) lunchtime meal.
