About This Show

Hershey Felder, actor and concert pianist, reprises his solo performance focuses on the life and music of George Gershwin. Felder spent five years studying Gershwin’s compositions and performed “Rhapsody in Blue” over 400 times before this show was developed. Los Angeles, home to George Gershwin Alone, was Gershwin’s final residence; he was composing film scores when he died suddenly of a brain tumor in July, 1937.
