David Lindsay-Abaire's wacky yet poignant comedy proves that no family dysfunction is insurmountable. Claire wakes up to her husband explaining that she has amnesia that erases her memory nightly. She takes it cheerfully, but has a few questions. Things go awry when a limping, lisping man in a ski mask kidnaps her. Claire's son-with-issues , her mother, who speaks "stroke talk," an ex-con with a foul mouthed puppet, and an intense woman cop, are pieces to the puzzle of her distorted life.
