About This Show

Freezing Antarctica examines the blessings and curses of Socialism and Capitalism as personified in a desperate dash to the South Pole by a Soviet meteorologist and an American adventurer (with an agenda) to perform a secret experiment against the backdrop of the aborted 1991 Russian coup. Intersecting their path as they make their way south, the spirits of Vladimir Lenin and Amelia Earhart wander the landscape, interacting with each other as well as the two mortal explorers. Bill Sterritt writes and directs.
