Fairy Tales — Some Assembly Required

Fairy Tales — Some Assembly Required is an interactive play in which the children in the audience are allowed to decide the story line of the fairy tale. Different elements of the tale may be presented each week (including the gender of the main character) depending upon the young audiences? choices. The performance is the adventure of Alex (a boy or a girl) who goes in search of his/her sister who is lost in the Enchanted Forest. In the vein of Into the Woods, Alex meets up with cracked characters including a not so magical Merlin the Magician, a jaded witch in a Sleeping Beauty tourist attraction, and a felonious Goldie Locks.
