Donna McKechnie: Inside the Music

The Colony Theatre Company presents the Los Angeles premiere of Donna McKechnie: Inside the Music. This will be the first fully-realized production of this show ever staged.

The performance is based upon the true stories of Ms. McKechnie?s life. As a young dancer raised in the Midwest, she literally runs away to New York to chase her dreams of becoming a Broadway performer. Through poignant and funny insights, the show traces the struggles of a young Broadway dancer who chooses to dance to her own beat. The show features text by acclaimed playwright Christopher Durang, based on original material by McKechnie.
