Based on the 1988 film that starred Michael Caine and Steve Martin, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is set in the glamorous French Riviera where two con men meet and decide that the town isn't big enough for both of them. They agree to a contest: the first one to swindle $50,000 from a young female heiress wins and the other man must leave town. A hilarious battle of cons ensues bringing out the best and the worst in both men. It will keep audiences laughing, humming and guessing to the very end. The show features music & lyrics by David Yazbek and book by Jeffrey Lane. The production is choreographed by Jerry Mitchell and directed by Jack O' Brien. Norbert Leo Butz, recipient of the 2005 Tony Award for Best Actor in a musical for his portrayal of Freddy Benson in the Broadway production, reprises the role for the Los Angeles engagement. Tom Hewitt co-stars as Lawrence Jameson.
