Deleyaman Live in Concert with special guest Irina Bjorklunde

Dark-wave, new age band Deleyaman brings a series of intimate concerts across LA County – with opening act Finnish Singer/Songwriter Irina Björklund and a post-concert reception hosted by the Consulate General of Finland and Consul General Kirsti Westphalen. Based in France, the four members of Deleyaman are of American-Armenian, French-Armenian, French and Swedish descent and use lyrics and instruments from their respective countries.

Deleyaman – Aret Madilian, Elizabeth Deage, Gerard Madilian, and Mia Bjorlingsson – was formed by Aret Madilian, the Istanbul born singer and multi-instrumentalist. The tour is a homecoming for Aret, originally from the South Bay, where he was part of the teen band “Vogue” aka “Wog” – winner of the 1985 KROQ Battle of the Bands.

Irina Björklund is a Finnish Actress, Singer, Songwriter, and Musical Saw Player (http://sonicbids.com/irinabjorklundpeterfox). Björklund and her composer partner Peter Fox will play soothing, make-a-better-world material from the album Chanson D’Automne that made the official charts in Finland for six weeks. They will perform with accomplished LA musician/producer Steve McCormick.
