Bridezilla Strikes Back

Having agreed in the summer of 2002 to allow a British documentary crew to film the preparations for her lavish New York City wedding, Silver was shocked to discover the film had been sold to FOX and WE and turned into a reality TV show tellingly called “Bridezillas.” Suddenly an unwitting traveler in a demoralizing landscape, Silver found herself mocked on TV and pilloried in the press and chat rooms, her wedding ridiculed in re-runs and countless promos.
