About this show

Personal torment and human tragedy becomes art in the deft hands of Dael Orlandersmith, Obie winner (Beauty's Daughter) and Pulitzer finalist (Yellowman). The rhythm and poetry of her words - juxtaposed against the harsh realities of a family coming to grips with a history of abuse and betrayal - create a powerful narrative for dramatic conflict as three now-strangers meet again: desperately seeking answers and salvation. This is a take-no-prisoners theatrical experience unlike any other. All seating for Bones will be on the stage amidst the characters and the confrontation and the performance is underscored by two jazz musicians on stage.
