About This Show

The first annual Blues Splash Festival saluting the West Coast Blues Sound and some of the most well known performers in the blues music arena will be featured in an all day festival on Sunday, October 26 at the historic El Portal Theatre on Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood. The five groups and artists assembled for the festival represent the direct link to the founder and pioneer of West Coast Blues – George “Harmonica” Smith.

Featured performers include Rod Piazza (The Mighty Flyers), Buddy Reed (The Rip It Ups), Paul Oscher, Charlie Baty and Rick Estrin (Little Charlie and the Nightcats), Jamie Wood (The Road House Rockets), and Pacemaker and the Blue Vanguards featuring Bob Pacemaker Newham and Johnny Dyer.

Big Rockin Daddy will act as Host and Emcee for the Blues Splash Festival.

Appropriate for audiences 12 and above.

Tickets available at box office DAY OF EVENT ONLY. The event runs from 2pm-10:30pm.
