About This Show

Biloxi Blues is the second of Neil Simon’s autobiographical “Eugene Trilogy”. Set in Biloxi, Mississippi 1943, Eugene endures basic training with a group of colorful young men from the east coast and his eccentric drill sergeant; Merwin J. Toomey. It’s a coming of age story that deals with everything from racism, to homosexuality, to war. It’s about what happens when a country’s boys are forced to become men.
