About This Show

Comic hilarity abounds as two bowler-wearing silent film clowns take a wrong turn and land directly in front of a live audience. In the tradition of Buster Keaton and Laurel and Hardy – with a smattering of Samuel Beckett – all wear bowlers brims with sheer entertainment, vaudevillian silliness and stunning athleticism. Audiences will fall out of their chairs with laughter as the inventive derring-do of two masterful physical comedians tickle the funny bone and occasionally even move their viewers to tears. Created and performed by Geoff Sobelle and Trey Lyford, and directed by Aleksandra Wolska.

The New York Times proclaimed all wear bowlers, “A singularly inventive and surreal vaudeville act … classic slapstick, elegant pratfalls and rigorous sleight of hand.” The Los Angeles Times called it “wacky, impressively innovative. It’s funny and visually eloquent.” And Philadelphia Weekly deemed the duo “sensationally inventive and utterly delightful.”

Performed in the Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.
