About This Show

Peer Gynt crashes into Our Town in A Vast Wreck. Peter Gibbs wanders, philanders and careens through the world, unable to escape the beautiful madness of human behaviour.

“This town is not my town. This town is boring. This town is for old people and dead people — for people going nowhere — this town is for people who think they can escape the fallout of filth and rampage — the lynch mobs — media blitzers — the cyanide in the Kool-Aid — fuck the Rotarians and Shriners and Mothers of the Revolution and other kiss-ass do-gooders — this town is drowning in a dream — on the river floating.”
