When Eunice was a little girl, letters would come from Korea that made her mother cry. Now grown, pregnant, and back home with an attitude, she confronts her mother with a box of photos and a book of poetry?all that?s left of the past. The memories that unfold for her could be truth or fantasy, but juxtaposed with Eunice?s own life, they entangle her in mystery.
