Richard Marx kicked off his career as a solo artist in 1987. Over the next three years he became the first male artist to have his first 7 singles reach the top 5 on Billboard’s singles chart – including the number one hits: "Hold On to The Nights," "Satisfied," and "Right Here Waiting."

He has remained at the top of the Pop and Adult Contemporary charts and has emerged as a top producer for some of the biggest names in the business including – Kenny Rogers, Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban, Natalie Cole and many more – most notably Luther Vandross with whom he produced the 2004 Grammy Award Winning Song of the Year, "Dance With My Father."
