In the summer of 1965, twenty year old Julio, son of Cuban immigrants, and Catholic met eighteen year old Rachel who is Jewish and the daughter of first generation American parents with Russian ancestry. He was in need of a summer job and goes to work in a factory where he meets Rachel. She happens to be the boss’s daughter. As the summer progresses, so does their relationship. What began as a harmless flirtation flourished into a love that would forever change their lives. Thirty-six years later, they meet again, in a bittersweet reunion that holds a surprise for them both.
