About This Show

From the ballet master who redefined classical ballet, comes three of his most iconic works: Serenade, Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, and Who Cares?

The celebration begins with his first American ballet, Serenade, featuring a timeless score from Tchaikovsky. Slaughter on Tenth Avenue, the tale of Broadway dreams, Russian dancers and the Mob from the Rodgers & Hart comedy On Your Toes, salutes Balanchine’s triumphs on both stage and silver screen. This celebration’s finale will uplift and inspire in an energetic tribute to the bubbly Americana songbook of George Gershwin, in Who Cares?
