About This Show

Set in a Nazi “rehabilitation zone” in central Poland during World War II, Resort 76 is a poignant and often bitterly funny play about a group of Jewish citizens forced to work in a carpet factory while struggling to maintain their humanity amid increased hopelessness. As the makeshift community fights to avoid starvation, a miracle arrives in the form of a captured cat. Arguments soon erupt over how to put the cat to best use, and ultimately every resident of RESORT 76 faces hard choices that determine the true nature of their character.
