About This Show

How can you move forward with your future when you’re still living in the past?

Grain of Sand Productions presents the world premiere of Last Call at Moby Dick’s, written by Ed Marill, and directed by Mark L. Taylor. The play examines the lives of seven high school friends, now in their early thirties, who are having trouble living in the present. Each one is still holding on to the glory days of the past, all unwilling or unable to move on to the next stage of their lives. Every generation has its own obstacles to overcome, but it is how a person deals with those obstacles that allow him or her to grow. The fundamental, universal theme of letting go of the past, dealing with the present, and planning for the future is something that is relatable to everyone, whatever age.
